Entrance zone objects of WANEMI, a.s. paper-mill in Zábřeh

The diploma thesis deals with the entrance zone objects nearby a to-be-built energetic-paper mill factory WANEMI, Inc. in Zábřeh. It consists of two objects: a presentation pavilion and an administrative building. My design combines a function of parking and administration into one single object to occupy less land. Garages are intersected by a big open skylight in the middle with some trees planted in - this way people are moving as if in the treetops. The exhibition pavilion is situated in the intersection of main view axes to landscape dominants. Their extension is projected even into the interior where they determine main spaces. Visitor of the building climbs the way up along the important views to finish his way upstairs in the main hall.
Entrance zone objects of WANEMI, a.s. paper-mill in Zábřeh

Diploma thesis completes with its design large project of Wanemi company, a.s. in energetics sphere and paper industry. The area of planned paper mill in Industrial zone „Leštinská“ in Zábřeh is logically divided into three functionally graduated zones- zone of production, zone of extend and enter zone. The enter zone makes up some „green“ borderline between road lined ground of paper factory and production areal itself. The task of diploma thesis was to design complex solution of this enter „green“ zone, included situation and design of presentation pavilion and administration building objects.
The proposal industrial zone on region Telč

This master's thesis analyzes problems, which are connected with building industrial zones in Telč region. It intents especially in human resources usage and industry developing. It includes some suggestions how to deal with these problems, mainly suggestions on the regional level.
Urban study of development area Vítkovice - Moravská Ostrava

'The inspiration behind this project is the new urbanist idea which combines residential development with green spaces for leisure and sport as well as mixed use commercial areas and storage. The layout of the area is a grid formed by 100m squared plots with residential houses with personal yards. These plots are grouped as complexes and between each complex is a communal green space. On the outside of the inner grid, there are mixed use apartment buildings and a high commercial floor. The square is dominated by a smaller multi-purpose building with a fluid outside space in which community events can be organized. Diagonally connected to the square is a park with a playground and an area with patio seating in addition to three villa houses. The park leads to the river embankment, into which tiered seating will be created. Around the hotel, there is another park with a multi-generational playground. In the northern part is located hotel renovated from the original industrial buildings with added ground floor restaurant area. Around hotel there is a park with green space and multi-generational playground. The terrace houses are located in the northeastern part of the complex and feature an attractive riverside view. Row houses line the the main road and are buffered from street noise by a line of trees. Typology and placement of other, separate houses is inspired by colonies of worker-houses eg. Baťa houses in Zlín. In between each ground these is no fence and are only separated a slight depression in the green.
Technology and Innovation Centre Telč

The study of Technology and inovation center contais the komplex of buildings with administrative and manufactured character. The komplex is situated into slightly steep terrain on the outskirts of town Telč. In the near of Technology Center are located the buildings with manufacturing charakter, warehouses and the residential buildings. The administration building provides operational, social – hygienic function and lunchroom. The production buildings provide hygienic, producing, warehousing and partly administrative function. Around the buildings are parking lots, pedestrian zone and green areas with new plated trees.
Office Building for Paper Mill WANEMI, a.s., in Zábřeh

The thesis describes a design of the office building of Wanemi a.s. company in Zábřeh na Moravě. The company intends to build an ecological paper mill in the city. The office building is located at the „green“ entrance zone of the manufacturing facility. The building is designed in accordance with the requirements of energy–efficient buildings and the philosophy of the company – People and nature. The „green“ entrance zone that includes a placement of individual objects (office building, presentation pavilion, info center) has been solved as a pre-diploma thesis.
Types of firms and sectoral proximity in the industrial zone Borská pole

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to give a detailed view of the structure of the companies and its development within Borská pole in Pilsen - a successful, public- sector established, industrial zone. Based on publicly available information and analysing the websites of the individual subjects, the companies were divided into 6 types. After that, the development trends and the current status according to the proportion of the individual categories were evaluated. For companies in the manufacturing sector, a degree of sectoral proximity was identified using the ex-ante methodological approach of the related variety concept, i.e. whether the structure of the studied companies is diversified, related variety or specialized. Based on the research, a relatively high proportion of companies operating in non-productive sectors was identified and overall there is a notable qualitative shift regarding activities from originally predominant production towards tertiary and quaternary activities. Finally it was discovered that the industrial composition of companies within the zone is largely unrelated diversified. Influence of the Kvasiny industrial zone on the development of the region

This diploma thesis deals with influence of the Kvasiny industrial zone on the development of Rychnovska. This industrial zone is made up of one strategic investor, namely Škoda Auto a.s. with the plant in Kvasiny. The main attention was paid to the economic entities operating in the Rychnov nad Kněžnou district. First, a SWOT analysis of the ORP Rychnov nad Kněžnou and the industrial zones itself was carried out. Subsequently, a questionnaire survey was used, which was used to identify both positive and negative impacts on economic operators operating in the region.

Analysis of business and entrepreneurship sector policy in the town Písek

The aim of my thesis is to analyse business and entrepreneurship sector of the town Písek and positive attitude of the local municipality towards private business sector operating on the largest industrial zone in South Bohemia. Theoretical part concentrates on description and explanation of the basic terms and relations dealing with the topic of regional development. Afterwards, I focus on description of public and private sectors and possibilities of providing financial subsidies from both national and EU funds. The first section of practical part concentrates on detailed description of the region Písek from various viewpoints social, demographic, economic, industry sectors and competitiveness. Furthermore, I describe and analyse business and entrepreneurship conditions within the industrial zone lying on the edge of the northern part of the town Písek focusing on the past, present and future. I also describe clusters and evaluate success rate and effectiveness of the town Písek in obtaining financial subsidies from both national and EU funds. The last part uses the findings to compare the industrial zone in Písek with a similar industrial zone in Vodňany. Finally, I summarise and evaluate all findings. I outline the possibilities of further development of the industrial zone Písek and ways to obtain financial subsidies for development of business and entrepreneurship sector in the town Písek from accessible European funds.
